OVERALL OBJECTIVE
The Dealing with Layoffs Workshop aims to provide participants with the understanding of
how to work
out the strategy, communications, policy, practices, and processes required to deal with
layoffs.
Work on what could be provided to assist staff being laid off. Work on what has to be done with
the
staff and teams that remain so that the organization is positioned for success.
OUTCOMES
The participants will be able to:
- understand the necessity for the retrenchments
- know how to strategically determine who should leave and how to handle those leaving
- ensure support for the organization for it's decisions and methods adopted to implement
those decisions
